Thank God It’s Friday

Yesterday was the end of my first week as an intern in NetD.  At last! Rest day  after five days of work. I’m happy because I’ve learned a lot in VB.net and ASP.net on my first week in this company. In fact, Princess and I were able to do the windows application for our Time In- Time out project.

Well, we still have to do some finishing touches with the windows application program because we haven’t tested it yet using the NetD’s database.  We created our own database but was patterned with NetD’s DB as our dummy database so that we can test our program without messing up their database records.  Because we patterned our DB with the company’s DB, we are assuming that if we run the program using NetD’s DB, only few or no bugs will arise. So our task on Monday is to check for other possible bugs, fix it and try to connect the Windows application to NetD’s DB,

By the way, I’m still having a hard time adjusting with my new environment. I want to get to know all the programmers, especially our handler, in our department so that it will be easier for us to approach them in case we have questions.
