Multiple GUI GUI GUI!!! [Last!]

June 10, 2009

1st Week of June: my last week of OJT.

I stated in my previous blog that the GUI I made for my fourth project can only convert a music file one at a time. So this time, Sir Ardee asked me to make the GUI more advanced to the point that it can convert multiple music files. What it should basically do is queue the music files and convert them sequentially. I discovered a component of the AWT of Java that mostly solves this problem: List. I tried to learn how to use it first before applying it to the GUI. And when I did, it was a perfect fit for this version of the project! However, due to the lack of time, I didn’t get to finish this project. đŸ˜¦ Sir Ardee said it was okay if I didn’t finish it. He said he’ll be the one to continue it. Hehe!

Finally, my OJT is done. Although I feel bad because I left some unfinished business but my overall experience in Creo was A-W-E-S-O-M-E!! They made my one and only OJT experience the best one! I learned a lot of stuff. And I can actually see that my programming skills improved! Thanks to everyone that make up Creo! I look forward to working with you all in the future! đŸ˜€
