It’s my last day in office today and everything’s now done – documentation and all!Yey! But I still have to submit my deliverables (in cd) tomorrow. Boohoo. 😛

I haven’t got all the problem types needed to put into my program. But I have now been piled up with the problem types already given to me. (I wonder how many problem types do I need to encode).

3/4 Done!

May 23, 2009

…because 1/4 of it is all about the input I am going to hardcode into my Java program code (1st Project). Hehe.  They still haven’t given me the complete list of problems with solutions/suggestions (that is about helpdesk concerns).

Since summer classes are now over, I could now spent 9 hours a day in the office. Hooray! Hooray? Haha. (With that, it is estimated that I’ll have my last day of ojt on May 30. Yey!)

As for updates, I still don’t know what to do with my problem about the website look in Firefox and IE.  But I have read about THIS and it quotes:

“…Your server may be sending incorrect MIME types for some of your files. Internet Explorer incorrectly ignores server-provided MIME types, so it sometimes “does the right thing” when the server is misconfigured. Whole New Project

May 6, 2009

My supervisor has not been available up to this day. It was this Monday that he told me that I’ll be using Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 (Express Edition) for my other project. This is a freeware web development tool and its main function is to create ASP.NET websites. Now, he is asking me to create a whole new website that contains FAQ for their helpdesk team and stores helpdesk procedures. He wants me to use this because as mentioned, it’s for free and once installed, it will create a virtual server to host your website right inside your pc.

I was really hopeless last week about the project given to me. I couldn’t move on because I’m really stuck at decoding/parsing an XML file back into the JTree. And in case I’ll be able to resolve that problem, I need to make the loaded tree editable again. @_@
